The Hampton Trust is one of the most respected and innovative UK providers of work in the field of domestic abuse and more recently wider criminal justice responses. Established in 1996 to work with court mandated perpetrators we have since developed a range of innovative programmes to break the cycle of abuse and reduce reoffending. Since 2011 we have been working in partnership with Hampshire Constabulary to design and deliver domestic abuse workshops to perpetrators as part of a conditional caution. Evaluated by Cambridge University this intervention is the first of its type nationally and has gained two national awards for innovation.
We are now successfully delivering CARA in Hampshire, Leicestershire, West Midlands and Avon & Somerset. CARA is set to be replicated in further UK police forces during the next 6 months. We are now developing a criminal justice response to young adult offenders. Working in partnership with Hampshire Constabulary we have adapted our LINX programme and will deliver workshops to offenders who have received a conditional caution. Under randomised control trial conditions this will now be subject to a two-year pilot with the potential to influence national policy on diversionary work with young adults.
YOU, Aurora New Dawn and The Hampton Trust have come together as a partnership to deliver the Connect Model in West Sussex. We believe our mutual skills and complimentary experiences are allied to a shared vision for what the project could add to existing frameworks for working with perpetrators. Collectively we bring extensive experience and huge strength to the Connect model and are delighted to be leading the pilot in West Sussex.
We are always keen to recruit people that share our pride and passion in developing innovative programmes/projects.
