This is a unique and exciting role to broaden your knowledge of domestic abuse and develop your professional skill base by working directly with individuals who have made a commitment to change their abusive and controlling behaviour. Working as part of the ADAPT (Accredited Domestic Abuse Prevention Training) team we are currently looking recruit casual and regular sessional facilitators.
Job Title: ADAPT Sessional Facilitator
Responsible to: Domestic Abuse Services Manager
Salary: £15 per hour
ADAPT is a 20-week modular, group work intervention operating in various sites across Hampshire. Sessional facilitators are required for the co-delivery of programmes, and with additional training will have an opportunity to undertake service user suitability assessments to assist in formulating a support plan of suitable interventions available for individuals using abuse in their intimate relationships.
In order to comply with Respect Accreditation Standards a minimum training period is required prior to a delivering ADAPT. Due to Covid-19 restrictions much of this may be via video sessions whilst some may be group observation in person or via video link.
