Working in the field of domestic abuse for 24 years, Hampton Trust are one of the largest UK providers of Respect accredited domestic abuse perpetrator programmes. The pandemic has increased demand for services, placing victims and survivors at increased risk. In response we have continued to review our approach to perpetrators.  This is an opportunity to join an established team of Domestic Abuse Practitioners and to lead a transformational pilot targeting High Harm Domestic Abuse Perpetrators.

Job Title:                Transformation Manager – High Harm Lead

Hours:                       37.5 hours per week

Salary:                      £31,000 per annum

Base:                        Ashurst / Home working /Other locations within Hampshire

Contract:                  Fixed until 31st December 2021 (possible extension subject to funding)

As the Transformation Manager you will be required to work alongside the Domestic Abuse Service Manager and lead the mobilisation of a pilot across Southampton and Eastleigh targeting high risk domestic abuse families. This pilot aims to transform the police response to high harm perpetrators across Hampshire. You will support a team of practitioners to deliver fast track assessments, matching intervention to risk and need. As a multi-agency response to domestic abuse, this pilot aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a targeted response to high harm perpetrators using an engagement and tracking and disruption model.

This is an opportunity to be involved at the start of a new project and to play a key role in transforming Hampshire’s response to perpetrators who repeatedly go round the system, with increasing levels of risk and frequency. This piece of work forms part of the transformational element of a commissioned domestic abuse perpetrator service and you will also be required to work closely with the Domestic Abuse Services Manager to assist in workforce development and a targeted response to young people showing signs of perpetrating domestic abuse.  Under this role you will also work alongside the Deputy Chief Executive to provide oversight and support to the SafeLives Drive pilot that Hampton Trust is leading in Dorset. You will be required to provide remote management and occasional visits to engage in stakeholder meetings and to meet staff.

For this role is it essential that you have ability to advise, support and coach staff at varying levels of practice and management.  You must be able to lead transformational projects and work at a strategic level with a wide range of agencies and stakeholders.  You must have skills and aptitude to develop, review and monitor the progress of new services and initiatives.
