In recent years, we have evolved from a locally based Hampshire charity to providing services across multiple UK police force areas. This is an exciting period for our organisation as we continue to expand, now offering interventions in new regions, including London.
The role
Job title: CARA Sessional Facilitator
Hours: Saturday 9am to 4pm (booked subject to individual availability)
Salary: £26.75 per hour (inclusive of London Weighting)
Delivery sites: London areas of Haringey, Enfield, Waltham Forest, and Newham
Contract: Zero Hours
Hampton Trust (HT) is delighted to be leading a CARA (Cautioning and Relationship Abuse) pilot in London with the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) and Metropolitan Police (MET). This is an exciting opportunity to join the team of Hampton Trust facilitators to deliver CARA across London areas of Haringey, Enfield, Waltham Forest, and Newham.
Key responsibilities:
- Co-facilitate CARA across North Area and North East Basic Command Unit (BCU) districts on Saturdays
- Engage and motivate participants through motivational interviewing techniques
- Deliver sessions in a person-centred, flexible approach while following CARA manual sessions and planning
What we’re looking for:
- Experience of working frontline with people affected by domestic abuse, including those who cause harm and who are harmed
- Experience of group work and facilitation with well-developed communication skills with a range of audiences
- Strong organisational skills, including planning and time management
- Ability to work flexibly and independently

Please ensure you are available to attend CARA Facilitator Training on: 15th to 18th May, 9.30am to 4.30pm – in person, location TBC in London
