The Crime Survey for England Wales from 2022 estimated that 2.4 million adults aged 16 years and over experienced domestic abuse in the previous year, with 1.5 million incidents recorded by police and many more remaining unreported and hidden.

This course aims to help professionals understand the nature and extent of domestic abuse and the links to sexual violence. Participants will learn to recognise the signs of abuse, understand the profound impact it has on survivors, and explore effective ways to respond and provide support.

The course is suitable for frontline professionals working in health, education, housing, social care, bluelight services, etc.
