Hampton Trust affords me the privilege of feeling proud to be part of an organisation that recognises the impact of trauma and supports individuals to reflect on harmful behaviours, take responsibility, and work towards lasting change. By challenging the attitudes and norms that allow abuse to persist, we aim to break intergenerational cycles and contribute to a culture where safety, respect, and equality are the expectation for everyone. Being part of this work gives me a deep sense of pride, knowing we support meaningful change, accountability, and safer futures for individuals and families.
Jenise Hutchinson
JUNO Women’s Service Manager
Jenise joined Hampton Trust in 2016 as a Domestic Abuse Support Advisor before progressing to Women’s Services Manager. In this role, she has played a vital part in the development and delivery of JUNO, a trauma-informed, inclusive, rehabilitative intervention designed to respond to complex trauma histories and the unique vulnerabilities associated with female offending.
Managing JUNO has allowed Jenise to deliver a holistic, gender-responsive approach that supports women to build resilience, develop emotional regulation skills, and ultimately prevent reoffending.
For more than 25 years, Jenise has dedicated her career to ending violence against women and girls and supporting women to rebuild their lives following trauma, abuse, and adversity. Her work has always centred around empowering women to make informed choices and strengthen resilience. This included managing several refuges in London, providing specialist, high-quality support to women and children escaping domestic violence and abuse, while creating a safe space for them to heal and recover while equipping women with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to rebuild their lives and move forward positively, safely, and independently free from the fear of abuse.
