Job title: Women’s Services Practitioner

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: Band 6 £24,960 – £28,079 per annum

Location: Ashurst, Southampton with weekly delivery across Hampshire & Southampton with occasional delivery on IOW

Contract: Permanent

Join Hampton Trust as our Women’s Services Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the continued success of JUNO, an early intervention for women in the criminal justice system who have received a Conditional Caution.

About the role

Key responsibilities:

  • Proactive trauma-informed engagement with women referred to JUNO
  • Assist women in identifying their own needs and support them to progress using a strength-based and trauma-informed approach to reduce the likelihood of further offending.
  • Co-facilitation of JUNO groups and individual work with female offenders

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in supporting women who have experienced domestic abuse
  • Experience in supporting women to manage complex trauma histories
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable working with a range of audiences and stakeholders

This role is a Band 6 and is offered on a full-time basis of 37.5 hours per week, you must have some flexibility to travel for events or conferences on an ad-hoc basis, including periodically delivering group sessions on the Isle of Wight.
